RIVER CITY ROVERS CHALLENGE THE INDIANA INVADERS

Louisville, KY—May 30, 2011, The River City Rovers, Louisville’s PDL men’s outdoor soccer team, played out a tough night against the Indiana Invaders at The Indiana Soccer Complex, South Bend, IN. While the Rovers maintained their defensive stance, the Invaders claimed the final win at 5-1.

“We hit a rough patch at the end of this first road trip,” said Coach Dale Helfrich. “Tonight’s second half was better than the first. We’ve got a great group of players— they’re quick at learning the opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.”

The Rovers finished with 11 shots on goal; 2 saves; and 6 corners in the game. The Rovers will continue their away game schedule June 3rd against the Michigan Bucks. The full schedule of home and away games can be found at www.roverssoccer.com.
